Words can not describe the joy I feel when with my daughter. I didn’t think I was the type to have a child or be a decent parent, but the moment I held her, that changed a thousand fold. She’s 13 months now and is the absolute highlight of my life. I honestly can’t imagine this world without her these days and I can’t thank her mother enough for that. 🙏🙏🙏

A short [fictional?] story: His eyes immediately opened when he heard it. It was like a gunshot in the middle of the night. A sense of panic and anxiety set in as he searched for those familiar digits in the darkness. What time was it? When I first got here, we were sitting in a large circle and each of us were asked to summarize why we are here; what did we hope to achieve by attending this retreat. I blurted out, "...to work on some of my skills (acro, slack line, etc)" and I was quite satisfied with that answer. By the end of the first night, I realized I am here in order to push myself out of my comfort zones - not to work on my slack line skills; that was the easy answer. I have always thought of myself as a rather social, amicable person and one that feels at ease in almost any scenario - the proverbial 'social butterfly' - but it's often had a veil of that old cop persona intertwined. "Be yourself, be friendly - but don't allow yourself to be vulnerable." I was quickly shown that I am not at ease in those realms like I thought I was. I keep that wall up, rarely allowing myself to be at ease around others while simultaneously just being *me*. Tonight was interesting and engaging and it certainly gave me some points to consider and reflect on as I lay under the nearly full moon light at the water's edge. #BigOmYogaRetreat | #YogaEveryDamnDay

My sister, @xoxoxsayralynn, and @drftraining, are in need of some help. Repost from @KillerBee_ #Friends, I am hosting this fundraiser for a family within our community that sadly lost their home in a fire. It happened in a span of 20 minutes while they were picking up their children from church. As with all grease fires, it spread rapidly and Matt was not able to contain it despite his best efforts while awaiting the fire department. To add to the turmoil, they were not insured, and lost everything. I ask that you donate anything you can offer/spare. I would not ask for your help unless it were of dire need.
