Hi, babes. I’m still hidden in a ludicrous quarantine and it’s been a funnnnn, psychological test for myself, lemme tell ya. Ups & downs, + & - Black & White, Purple & Blue North & South Positive & Negative It’s been a trip. An introspective one.

I went out to capture some of the emotion at the #OKC #BLM protests. I chose to attend later at night, wondering if it would hold the same vibe as it did earlier in the day, and let me tell you, it was different. No one had signs. No one was arguing their point. It was a vibe of “fuck you” to the system & Govt. There is a place for that in protest, I wholly admit. It is needed to varying degrees. But I also encountered assholes they weren’t there for any reason aside from chaos and that angers and saddens me and is detracting from the genuine message regarding racism and coming together. - Sincerely, former Police Officer 🐖
